When I get my second pug (yes, I'm thinking about getting another one!) I just might name it "Dilly" because a little girl once took a look at my Paco and said, "His tail looks just like a Dairy Queen Dilly Bar!"

i have a 10 month old pug named Jazz. i'm getting another one this week and i'm planning to name her Baila. i was thinking of a unique name that has something to do with music that's why i came up with "Baila" - a form of dance music. i had to do some research about music styles at wikipedia just for the name. :-P

I have a 1 year old pug i got from a rescue center when he was only 5 months old!!! I named him skillet. He is so cute he is black and loves to play with my daughter and are cat!!! So cute we are getting another one and nameing him scoodle!!! My daughter names all of are dogs!!! : )

We named our Pug "Guapo". (Handsome in Spanish) He's the coolest!

We have 2 pugs. Sir Charles Philip Oliver is a fawn pug. AKA "Ollie". Our black pug we adopted at the age of 3 years old. He came to us with the name Frank. At the time, Frank was a little overweight and he was dubbed "Frank the Tank".

We have a 7 mo old fawn female named Buba(boo-ba)perfect fit with the buggy eyes and playfulness. If we get a male the choices would be: Betis, Yoda, Loke, or Bonaparte. All depends on the personality of the Pug.

I'm getting one in a few months - the mum is pregnant and they'll be ready to go by Mid-November. Its going to be a black one. I'm gonna call her either Shadow, Phoenix or Mustang - haven't decided yet. But at least which ever one I choose leaves 2 names for 2 more pugs to come along.

I got a pug 2 weeks ago and I named her Sookie, It suits her very well we call her all kinds of things though Sookie Monster, Sook, the sookster, and Sookie Tookie. Im fearing she isnt very smart though she recognizes her name and responds but doesnt come just looks at me. Are they all like that?

Mabel was the first. I named her Mabel because it means adorable. My husband insisted that if I name her Mabel, the Joy had to go with it after a song he liked from the 70's. A year after she was named, I found out that the Mabel Joy in the song was a prostitute. My husband thinks he's so funny.

We only have one pug and can't decide which name is the best right now, each kid gave their own name and we are going from there.
I got a very sweet black female pug puppy yesterday. She is really cute! We have been trying to think of names.
I liked "Daphne" because she looks like a beautiful Princess & Daphne sounds like the name of a Princess but my husband did not like that name at all he likes "Mattie".
She is very curious and loves to bite and tug on everything, including us! Sometimes it hurts so once I said she bites like the Devil. So we are thinking the name 'Lucy Fur' might be good. We would just call her "Lucy."
My husband said she looks like someone smashed her cute little face with a skillet, but "Skillet" sounds like a boys name to me.
Does anyone have any idea's for a sweet girl's names?

We Just Love all the pug names on the page. We also had a female fawn that passed away that was named Cricket Lol thought they looked like one as a puppy with those bug eyes. my fawn pug's name is Addams, from Pugsly from the Addams family
i have the most beautiful pug, her name is blossom. She black and she has a middle name, leigh. Its pronounced as Lee. Anyways i love the name. we named her that because pugs were originated in china and we thought blossom leigh just sound right. Oh yeah, cocoa, and porky are other good names!

The saying you can't have just one is very true when it comes to pugs. I have three. Black male named Pugsly,black female named Pepper and a fawn female called Oliver,Ollie Bean for short. My first pug died of cancer 4 years ago she was only 3 years old, her name was Merf.
well. My first pugs name is pugsley & now I have another one named Braxton. We got pugsley from the internet and well I just liked the name braxton so thats how I got that name:)
